Why is it free? What's the trick? What's in it for numerunique?
It is a show of numerunique know-how. Sharing files is a very common request of numerunique customers. numerunique can and have adapted it to specific needs. We hope it will inspire you to ask us about what we can do for you.

Links are valid for 64 hours; they will automatically be deleted after this time.
How long are shared files accessible?
Files are kept for 64 hours; they will automatically be deleted after this time.

Stored in neutralised format on a dedicated server installed in France.
Who can access the files?
Whoever has the shared link (and the people directly working at numerunique).
What does numerunique do with the files uploaded on its server?
Absolutely nothing, apart from allowing the sharing of these files for at least 64 hours.
Who says that numerunique won't use the uploaded files?
No one does, especially not numerunique for it would be meaningless: we are telling you that we won't be using them, we are a company that prides ourselves on doing what we say, but dishonest people say the same things that honest people do. That said, you should not trust someone pretending to offer a confidential means of file sharing. If confidentiality matters, the first step would be to encrypt the files before sending them anywhere.
Are the files copied and saved anywhere else?
Keep copies, what for? Storage costs a lot! Imagine: 4 GB per user… This service is hosted on a modest server: numerunique can't afford to save copies of shared files.
Why are the disclaimer texts so small? Is it so they can't be read?
That's it! Seriously though, it's to save space. If you don't know how to zoom in to your screen, copy and paste them elsewhere, to read them loud and clear.
